// why trust me with your business

Before your business, an airline trusted me with theirs.

I’ve spent ten years building software that businesses run on — systems that take payments, book customers, and keep operations moving. Three stories tell most of it; the full history is below.

The airline

Breeze Airways trusted me with the systems that make them money.

I joined Breeze as an engineer and left running a team of up to eleven developers. Along the way we shipped features that generated over $10M in additional revenue, and I personally built the self-serve checked-bag kiosks travelers use at the airport and the live arrivals-and-departures board the operations team still runs on. When software has to work at 5am on a holiday weekend, this is the kind of experience that matters.

The company I founded

I built a software company, won government contracts, and sold it.

Electask helped California counties manage election tasks — work where mistakes are not an option. Three counties signed multi-year renewing contracts, and the company was acquired by a private investor in 2021. I know what it takes to build software a customer bets their operation on, because I’ve been the one on the hook for it.

The healthcare platform

Today I lead engineering for a telehealth company.

As Head of Engineering at Refill, I build patient-facing tools where privacy and reliability aren’t nice-to-haves — they’re the law. That’s the standard your systems and your customers’ data get held to.
